ThinLine Radio is a mobile application available on iOS and Android that allows users to listen to live, public safety, police, fire, and EMS scanner feeds from around the world. It acts as a client to connect to third-party, independently operated radio scanner servers - Listen on the Web – Thinline Radio (Primary Feed Only)

Follow the three simple steps below to start listening to live scanner feeds from HomeGrown Alerts on your phone or tablet. The whole process takes just a few minutes!
Step 1: Download the Thinline Radio App
The Thinline Radio app is available for both iPhone and Android devices. Download it from the appropriate store for your device: For iPhone / iPad:
- Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the search icon and type Thinline Radio in the search bar.
- Tap Get to download and install the app.
For Android:
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Tap the search bar and type Thinline Radio.
- Tap Install to download and install the app.
Create Your Thinline Radio Account:
- Open the Thinline Radio app once it’s installed.
- Tap Create Account (or Sign Up).
- Fill in your email address, create a password, and complete the registration.
- Confirm your account if required (check your email for a verification link).
Step 2: Register & Subscribe on HomeGrown Alerts
Next, you need to create an account on the HomeGrown Alerts scanner website and choose a subscription plan.
- Open a web browser on your phone or computer and go to:
https://scanner.homegrownalerts.com
- Click Register and create your account by entering your email and a password.
- After registering, choose your subscription plan:
- Monthly Subscription – Pay month-to-month
- Yearly Subscription – Pay once per year (best value!)
- Complete the payment process to activate your subscription.
⚠ Important: Remember the email and password you use on scanner.homegrownalerts.com – you’ll need these same credentials to log in through the Thinline Radio app in the next step.
Step 3: Connect to HomeGrown Alerts in the App
Now that your subscription is active, open the Thinline Radio app and connect to the HomeGrown Alerts server:
- Open the Thinline Radio app on your device.
- Tap Select a Server.
- Look for and tap Thinline Radio Servers.
- Find and select HomeGrown Alerts from the list.
- When prompted, log in using the same email and password you created on scanner.homegrownalerts.com.
- You’re all set! You should now be able to listen to live scanner feeds.
